Renovated or renovator?
Turnkey homes are selling at a premium right now, and homes that need work are being discounted. A renovator can be good value if the work is cosmetic and the structure is sound. It can also be a money pit. My job is to tell you which one you're looking at before you bid.
A builder's eye is not a building inspection. I'll flag what I see and help you understand the cost, but you should still get an independent pre-purchase building and pest inspection.
